Black Friday is the one week of the year when almost every prop firm discounts its challenges at the same time. That makes it the cheapest moment to start an evaluation — and the easiest moment to overpay for a "deal" that isn't one. This page explains how prop firm Black Friday promotions usually work, how to compare them, and exactly what WICK FUNDED is offering this year. Last updated: October 2026. We'll update it as other firms announce their offers.
When is Black Friday 2026?
Black Friday falls on Friday, November 27, 2026, the day after US Thanksgiving. Most prop firm promotions run across the whole long weekend, from Thanksgiving (November 26) to Cyber Monday, November 30. A few firms tease early-access codes the week before; very few extend past Cyber Monday.
What prop firm Black Friday deals usually look like
Across the industry, Black Friday promotions fall into four shapes:
- A straight percentage off the challenge fee, typically larger than the firm's usual monthly code.
- Buy one, get one — a second evaluation free, either identical or one size smaller.
- Improved terms on accounts bought during the sale, such as a higher profit split or a refundable fee once funded.
- Combinations of the above, often limited to certain account sizes or challenge types.
The rules of the challenge itself (profit target, drawdown, minimum trading days) normally do not change during a sale. You are buying the same evaluation for less.
How to compare two Black Friday offers
A bigger headline percentage is not automatically the better deal. Four checks make offers comparable:
- Price per $1,000 of capital. Divide the discounted fee by the account size in thousands. It turns a 5K deal and a 100K deal into the same unit.
- What "free account" really means. An identical second account doubles your attempts; a smaller one, or one that only unlocks after you pass, is worth much less.
- Which sizes and tracks are included. Many sales exclude the largest accounts or instant-funding products.
- The rules behind the price. A cheap challenge with a trailing drawdown, a strict consistency rule or a short time limit can cost more in practice. See drawdown explained and prop firm consistency rules.

| 200K 2-Step | $629 | $314.50 | 2 × 200K |
You can pay by card (Visa, Mastercard, processed by Banxa — no crypto or wallet needed) or in USDC/crypto. Your accounts open automatically once the payment is confirmed. Profit split ladders from 80% up to 95% on the challenge tracks, and payouts are made every 14 days in USDC. Full rules: /rules.
Until November 25, code WICKNOV already gives 20% off plus a second account free.
Is a Black Friday challenge worth it?
Only if you would have bought the challenge anyway. A discount lowers the cost of an attempt; it doesn't change the odds of passing, and most participants do not pass any evaluation, at any firm. The smart way to use a sale is to buy the size you would actually trade, use the second account as a genuine second attempt, and read the rules before the clock starts.
